Ginevra is a postdoctoral research associate working on the validation and characterisation of fungal pathogens. She obtained her PhD from the University of York, where she worked in Prof. Gideon Grogan group on developing a high-throughput directed evolution method for the screening of signal peptides variants from yeast S. cerevisiae. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in prof. Stracquadanio group at the University of Edinburgh, where she developed a High-throughput screening method for AI-generated variants of alpha-galactosidase from yeast P. pastoris.
