Aphena was an undergraduate student from Molecular Genetics. Her undergraduate honours project was about RNA-seq analysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and other yeasts with different temperature preferences, to find out if stress responses was homologous in two organisms, despite differing growth temperature.
