Rachael is a PhD student in the Wallace lab studying the evolution, structure, and function of transmembrane proteins in fungi, using computational and experimental approaches. She is jointly supervised by Dr Jelena Baranovic and Dr Joanne Thompson and funded by the EASTBIO Doctoral Training Partnership.
