Yuxuan did an MSc in Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology at Edinburgh from 2020-21. Her MSc project in the lab was on the evolution and structural prediction of KH-domain RNA-binding proteins from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Before that, Yuxuan graduated with a BSc in Biopharmaceuticals at Wuhan University in 2020.
